Biography

As Chief Financial Officer, Claire Tamo oversees On Lok’s financial strategy and operations, helping to ensure the organization remains financially strong and sustainable as it expands access to services and advances its mission. Claire brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare finance, operations, and executive leadership. Before joining On Lok, she served as CFO for Providence Health & Services’ Northern California Service Area, overseeing financial operations for a six-hospital region in Sonoma, Humboldt and Napa counties. She previously held executive leadership roles with Pacific Partners Management Services, Altais/Blue Shield of California, Kaiser Permanente, Stanford Health Care, and Sutter Health. Claire holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fresno. She has also completed executive leadership and healthcare development programs through Harvard Business School, Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Sutter Health.
